The Inn at the Rustic Gate is a great place to see a wide variety of birds.  On Friday May 5th 2006 Brian Allen spent about an hour and a half walking around our 146 acres and came up with the following birdlist.  We invite all birders to visit us and help add to the list.

In addition, we know that we are a nesting site for Sandhill Cranes and have noticed Green Herons and Great Snowy Egrets.  Our land is also blessed with many butterflies and hummingbirds.  We hope that you will have a chance to come, visit, and find other species to add to the list.
